Ventis Confined Space Entry Kit Overview
The Ventis Confined Space Entry Kit contains all the equipment needed for confined space entry, packed into a rugged and sturdy carry case.
Confined space entries refer to the practice of entering and working in a space that has limited entry and exit points, and which may have a hazardous atmosphere. Industries that commonly require confined space gas detectors include mining, manufacturing, construction, utilities, and petrochemical industries. Most industries require personnel to carry a 4 gas detector (CO, CO2, H2S, O2) for confined space entry.
The dangers of not using a gas detector in a confined space are significant, as the lack of oxygen and presence of toxic gases can cause asphyxiation, suffocation, and even death. Common gases that pose a risk in confined spaces include methane, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and other combustible gases. Without a gas detector, workers may not be aware of these hazards, putting their lives at risk.
