The T40 II Rattler Single Gas Monitor from Industrial Scientific is a single-gas detector designed to detect hazardous gases and vapours in industrial settings such as coal mines, petrochemical plants and more. The Rattler portable gas detector features a compact and durable design with IP 66 and 68 protections, making it ideal for personal use in harsh and demanding environments. The Industrial Scientific Rattler can continuously monitor harmful gases in the environment and once the concentration reaches the low and high alarm and TWA/STEL alarm preset values, the T40 II Rattler will produce a powerful vibrating alarm, a loud alarm sound (dB) and bright LED warning lights to alerts to workers.
The T40 II Rattler uses a reliable electrochemical sensor to detect gases including carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), and oxygen (O2). The Rattler is easy to operate and maintain, with a simple interface and a lithium battery that can facilitate continuous operation over two years.
