SKC Surface DECONtamination Solution for Hexavalent Chromium Overview
As well as being a known carcinogen, exposure to hexavalent chromium can cause significant harm to the skin, eyes and respiratory system.
Reduce dermal exposure to hexavalent chromium by using SKC’s Surface DECONtamination Solution to immediately decontaminate surfaces where chromium (VI) has been identified.
SKC’s DECONtamination Solution is optimally used as part of the rapid and straightforward Surface SWYPE hexavalent chromium detection process. If chromium (VI) is detected, simply wet the area with the DECONtamination Solution, allow it to react for at least 5 minutes and then rinse with water. To verify whether decontamination is complete, just conduct the straightforward, 3-minute Surface Swype check to see if any hexavalent chromium remains.
