Funded by the Australian Government, The New Horizons’ primary focus is to bring together world-class researchers to tackle challenges in the areas of future manufacturing, multi-scale modelling and design of materials, biological engineering and renewable energy.
Brief:
To supply and install a fixed detection system in laboratories and lift shafts within the new Monash University New Horizons Building.
Requirements:
The system was required to detect oxygen and combustible gases such as acetone and natural gases
Results:
A total of 255 Oldham combustible gas detectors as well as 55 Air-Met Monotox Transmit units were installed.
