Air-Met Scientific’s Service Station Fuel Vapour and Leak Detection Kit is a comprehensive kit designed for service stations where flammable gases, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and fuel leaks are a concern.

The kit covers several areas associated with service station safety, with essential safety equipment for monitoring and responding to incidents.
The Tiger PhoCheck handheld photoionisation detector (PID) is utilised to accurately and rapidly hazardous VOCs in the surrounding area. Its remarkable two-second response time, user-friendly design, and exceptional resistance to humidity and contamination make it an excellent choice for VOC detection.
The Ventis MX4 gas detector is important for identifying spikes in the lower explosive limit (LEL) from flammable gases at the site. Suitable for personal monitoring and confined space entry, the Industrial Scientific Ventis MX4 Multi Gas Detector has configurable alarms that ensure workers are properly alerted in hazardous situations. Given the combustible substances on site, a fire extinguisher is also supplied for critical response to blazes before they escalate in an emergency.
An intrinsically safe interface probe is also supplied with the fuel station leak detection kit for the detection and measuring of fuel tank leaks that have seeped through the substrate into the water below. Any fuel or oil spills identified can then be handled with the included spill kit.
