Titan 2 Fixed Benzene Specific Gas Monitor
Highly accurate benzene specific detection from 0.02 ppm to 20 ppm.
The Titan 2 Fixed Benzene Specific Gas Monitor from ION Science is a benzene specific monitoring solution designed to accurately identify benzene levels as low as 0.02 ppm (20 ppb) and as high as 20 ppm within just 60 seconds. With benzene known for being a carcinogenic and highly toxic chemical that can induce serious health issues from both short- and long-term exposure, the Titan 2 Benzene Monitor is designed to help safeguard workers by ensuring exposure levels are kept below the regulated safety standards. Capable of sampling airborne hazards and assessing the performance of purification or vapour recovery units, the Titan 2 is excellent for a range of applications where benzene is a threat, including in oil and gas, petrochemical and more.
With a MiniPID T2 10.0 eV sensor incorporated into the instrument, the Titan 2 is capable of gas speciation, and provides highly accurate and reliable readings of benzene concentrations by eliminating interfering gases such as toluene, xylene, and methane. Combined with a piezo electric micro pump, the detector features high precision, millisecond response times, and silent operation.
The ION Science Titan 2 is designed to operate effectively in challenging environments, with an IP65 rating for protection against high dust levels and humidity. The instrument also utilises internal heating regulation to enable smooth operation in extreme temperatures.
Benzene levels are displayed clearly on the instrument, and visual alarms help inform workers and site managers if unsafe levels have been reached. With a modular design that enables easy servicing and installation, the Titan 2 minimises downtime, allowing sites to operate safely and with confidence. The Titan 2 is IECEx approved and can be registered online for an extended warranty of up to 2 years.
