Narda SMARTS AMC EMF Area Monitor Overview

The Narda SMARTS AMC (Area Monitor Compact) EMF Area Monitor has been designed for use in areas that require continuous monitoring of electromagnetic fields (EMF), to ensure radiation levels are safe for humans and the environment. A patented feature unique to these devices, Narda's probes are designed with shaping filters to ensure that all services are evaluated according to the applicable standard. For example, these probes are directly compliant with standards such as ICNIRP, FCC or SC6 regardless of their frequencies. For ease of use, the shaped probes also allow users to easily obtain a direct reading for both occupational and general public limit values.

Ease of integration within existing monitoring systems is enabled through the Narda SMARTS AMC’s impressive connectivity and datalogging capacity. The ability to connect to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, optical fibre and USB-C or simply run the instrument in standalone mode means there is a datalogging option to fit within most monitoring networks. Additionally, receive real-time alerts through audiovisual alarms and control center notifications where set thresholds are surpassed. With complete PC control and a dedicated app available, measurements and alerts can be conveniently displayed on a smartwatch or mobile device.

A range of mounting options, probe choices and other customisable features make the Narda SMARTS AMC suitable for a wide range of applications from indoor use in buildings like aircraft hangers, to harsh outdoor environments with the IP67 version. The versatility of the instrument is enhanced with a standalone operating time of up to 100 hours, making it suitable for use in short, medium and long-term surveys. Probe performance for specific applications can be optimised by electing an individual calibration or choose a standard calibration in cases where the probe may be used in a more general capacity.
