Geotech Geosquirt 12V DC Purge Pump
A 12V DC submersible Purge pump that can purge to depths of up to 90ft (27m).
The Geotech Geosquirt is a submersible 12V water pump used to purge shallow wells up to a depth of 90 ft (27m). The pump is completely sealed, and it is designed to be operated when completely submerged in water.
When sampling groundwater, it is necessary to retrieve a water sample that represents the characteristics of water below the ground surface. But to obtain a sample, it is necessary to remove any stagnant water. This process is known as purging.
The purged water is then replaced by fresh groundwater from the aquifer. Purging may need to be repeated three or more times before the water in the well is representative of the surrounding aquifer.
The Geotech Geosquirt purge pump can be purchased alone or as a complete system with reel and tubing.

- It can be operated in temperatures up to 60°C (must be submerged at all times of usage)
- Operates to depths of 90ft (27m)
- Flow rates up to 2.5GPM (9.5LPM)
- Unlike most submersible water pumps, the Geosquirt is not heavy and bulky and is ideal for 2” (5cm) diameter or larger monitoring wells.
- Pump should be cooled every 5 minutes for every 15 minutes of operation.
