New Probe EFD-9091 Now Available for the FieldMan EMF Meter
Narda Releases the New EFD-9091 Probe For FieldMan Broadband Meters
Designed to be used with the Narda FieldMan Electromagnetic Field Meter, the new EFD-9091 probe is capable of detecting electric fields from 100 MHz to 90 GHz. Suitable for frequencies used in radar technologies, telecommunications, satellite communications and radio link, the probe’s high linearity and sensitivity ensure precise measurements for general public and occupational safety.
The probe's interface digitally communicates measurement data to the base unit, eliminating the need for calibrations on the FieldMan base unit. Instead, only the probe requires calibrating, with accreditation up to 18 GHz. Calibration data is stored in the probe itself and is automatically factored into the measurements. When the predominant field strength frequency is identified, a correction factor can be used to improve measurement precision.
Key features of the probe include:
Isotropic measurements
Excellent sensitivity from 0.5 V/m
Wide True RMS range up to 61.4 V/m
No calibration required on base unit
Automatic offset correction with no zero adjustment required
Broad temperature range of -20 °C to +50 °C
