New Gas Sensors for Ventis Pro5 and Tango Gas Monitors
Industrial Scientific Introduces Essential New Sensor Options to their Gas Monitors
With the wide spectrum of dangerous hazards faced by workers in fire and hazmat, manufacturing, mining, chemical plants and more, having the optimal sensor configuration on your gas monitor is paramount. To help guard workers against a wider range of hazards encountered in different industries, Industrial Scientific have expanded their sensor and configuration offerings for their Ventis Pro5 Multi Gas Monitor and Tango TX1 and TX2 Gas Monitors.
The Ventis Pro5 is now available with sensors for hydrogen (H2) and carbon monoxide (CO) high along with new sensor configurations. With these new gas sensors, users will be able to utilise the unparalleled connectivity and versatility of the Ventis Pro5 for more gases in power and chemical plants, as well as in situations where workers are using supplied air in high CO environments and processes.
For the Tango TX1 and TX2 monitors, Industrial Scientific have introduced sensors for hydrogen cyanide (HCN) and ammonia (NH3). This provides a lightweight and compact monitoring option for additional gases in mining, hazmat, chemical plants, agriculture and more.
Backed by the iNet Control+ Gas Detector Fleet Management Software, the Ventis Pro5 and Tango instruments with their new sensor configurations will also be supported by iNet Control’s ability to access, manage and analyse masses of data, alerts and more, all from one centralised platform.
Ventis Pro5 Multi Gas Monitor
Flexible sensor options with PID sensing capability and unparalleled connectivity.
Tango TX1 Single Gas Monitor
Compact and reliable single gas monitor for CO, H2, HCN, H2S, NH3, NO2 and SO2.
Monitor HCN and CO Simultaneously with the Tango TX2 Gas Detector
With the addition of a HCN sensor to the Tango TX2, users will now have access to a new sensor configuration to simultaneously detect the “toxic twins”, HCN and CO. Notorious as lethal gases that become exponentially more dangerous when combined, HCN and CO are particularly of concern in emergency response where they can restrict oxygen and cause long term harm to the heart, brain and nervous system.
While the simultaneous detection of these gases is highly desired due to their extremely toxic nature, current gas detection options on the market are limited, with many being bulky, difficult to use or only capable of monitoring each gas individually. With the introduction of the HCN and CO sensor configuration for the Tango TX2, users will now be able to equip a single lightweight gas detector to help defend against these hazards, all while receiving the full support of Industrial Scientific’s iNet Control+ Management System.
Tango TX2 Two Gas Monitor
Low maintenance gas detector equipped with individual sensors for increased accuracy.
Industrial Scientific’s range of gas monitoring equipment is available in Australia for sale, rental, service and as part of the iNet Exchange gas detector program from Air-Met Scientific.
