Introducing the Latest from Geotech Environmental
Geotech Environmental is a leading distributor of environmental management solutions. Providing a comprehensive selection of groundwater monitoring solutions for a range of industries, some of their most popular products include Geotech Water Level Meters, Geotech Peristaltic Pump, Geotech Purge Pumps , Deep Well Monitoring Kits and the Geotech low flow bladder pumps. Air-Met Scientific is a proud distributor of Geotech products and have recently added three new products to our offering in the last few months.
GROUNDWATER INTERFACE PROBE AND PURGE PUMPS
Geotech Interface Probe with ORS Style Frame
The Geotech Interface probe with an ORS Style Frame is an interface meter probe to accurately measure the depth of hydrocarbons and water. It is a handheld, battery-powered device used to measure the depth of water or oil in monitoring wells. It uses an optical prism to detect hydrocarbon layers as thin as 1/200’(1.52mm).
The Geotech Geosquirt 12V DC Purge Pump is a submersible pump used to purge wells upto a depth of 90ft(27m). It is completely sealed and designed to be operated when completely submerged in water.
It is used to remove stagnant water from a monitoring well prior to sampling.
The Geotech Interface Probe with Float is a robust and accurate instrument to detect and measure the thickness of floating and dense non-aqueous fluids in water well, tanks or natural reservoirs.
At Air-Met Scientific, we continually update our offering to bring you the latest in Soil and Ground Water Monitoring. Groundwater monitoring is vital for providing data on groundwater quality and quantity and essential for groundwater management. Monitoring is required for various purposes including:
Evaluating baseline groundwater quality
Assessment of the impact of land use changes
Understanding groundwater movement and flow patterns
Detection of potential contamination and
Industry compliance Groundwater monitoring is required for various purposes including collecting samples from boreholes and monitoring wells, assessing groundwater samples to meet industry compliance requirements and for monitoring water quality to detect potential contamination.
