Introducing the Nanozen DustCount 9000 Real-Time Personal Dust Monitor
Introducing the Nanozen DustCount 9000 Real-Time Wearable Dust Monitor
The DustCount 9000 by Nanozen is the industry’s smallest and lightest optical particle counter. Offering real-time personal dust monitoring, the DustCount 9000 helps cut particle exposure analysis and remediation exploration from weeks to minutes!
Respirable dust and aerosol particles such as crystalline silica, lead and hazardous metals can cause chronic health effects in workers who work in close contact with these hazardous particles. Respirable dust contains dust particles that are extremely fine and invisible to the naked eye, allowing them to reach deep into the lungs, enter the bloodstream, and settle into organs to cause cancer and other health issues. The Nanozen DustCount's compact size, cyclone-free design and 12 hour battery life ensures workers are comfortably protected wearing the DustCount 9000 for extended durations.
The DustCount 9000 enables occupational hygienists to use its real-time mass concentration, particle concentration and size distribution data to determine whether a worker is being exposed to dangerous levels of particulates. With the built-in cassette, hygienists can correlate the real-time data using standard method gravimetric analysis and/or composition analysis without the need for an external pump and filter.
Features and Benefits of the Nanozen DustCount 9000
Real-time readings and sample collection filters on the same device allow tight correlation of data – USB or Bluetooth interfaces allow management control and data capture from a PC or MAC.
Includes a sample collecting filter for post-measurement dust analysis – The cassette houses a removable 25mm filter such as Teflon, PVC or mesh. The collected samples can then be sent off for gravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis or IR absorption analysis.
Compact and lightweight – Weighing only 0.5 kg with a height of 13 cm, it can fit in a vest pocket or clip on belt for easy wearability.
Nanozen Desktop Software - The Nanozen desktop software allows users to connect to and control up to 128 DustCount units. Users can also observe PEL, STEL and TWA in real-time graphs and set alarm thresholds. Data can be downloaded and saved to either a .csv or native Excel format
DustCount 9000 supports interchangeable impactors for PM2.5 environmental, PM4 respirable and PM10 so that you can monitor different particulate concentrations in one unit.
Automated pump calibration eliminates ongoing manual calibration of pumps
With the DustCount 9000, you can accurately monitor real-time personal dust monitoring without the need for using a cyclone. Nanozen Industries Inc are pioneers in building products with innovative approaches to aerosol exposure analysis at industrial workplace environments.
