External Dust Filters Removed from Tango® TX1 and Ventis® Pro Series Gas Monitors
Industrial Scientific has announced the discontinuation of external dust filters for the Ventis Pro and Tango TX1 gas monitors
Effective 4 March 2019, new Ventis Pro and Tango TX1 gas monitors will no longer include external dust filters. Industrial Scientific ensures that removal of external dust filters will not affect the performance of the product.
Existing Industrial Scientific gas monitors with external dust filters can continue to be used, but it is recommended to always remove the filters for applications where gas monitors might become wet. Exposure of the filter to rain, water and other liquids can affect the function of the instrument. Filters can be removed using a finger or tweezers.
External dust barriers for Tango and Ventis Pro speakers continue to be available.
