Narda BFD-400-1 Probe Overview

The Narda Safety Test Solutions BFD-400-1 is a probe compatible with the Narda Fieldman Electromagnetic Field Meter that enables isotropic magnetic flux density to be measured from 1 Hz to 400 kHz. The probe provides a reliable, easy-to-use solution for measuring low frequency magnetic fields and is ideal for a range of applications including conducting measurements of medical devices, automotive operations, electric welding equipment and more.

With a high degree of versatility, the probe can offer simple measurement or detailed measurement. Simple measurement allows the probe to just be switched on and field strength can be read as the percentage of the relevant standard. Detailed measurement provides three-channel real-time analysis up to 400 kHz, time and frequency domain, markers, triggers and more where expert analysis is necessary.

As with all Narda FieldMan probes, the digital signal processing ensures that only the probe needs to be sent in for calibration. In doing so, this reduces downtime and increases convenience for users, as the handheld device itself doesn’t require recalibration.
