The BestChek MCE Filter with black grid features a filter pore size of 0.8µm and 25mm filter diameter. It also comes with a preloaded carbon-filled black polypropylene conductive cassette.
The cassette is assembled with a 2-inch spacer cowl and is quality tested for low asbestos background.

Otherwise known as the 5 C’s of asbestos cassetes. The BestChek® Preloaded Asbestos Sampling Cassette allows for accurate sampling and features the following:
- Average background fibre count is less than 4 fibres per 100 fields.
- Filter material clears thoroughly to meet method specifications and is suitable for PCM analysis.
- Cassette plastic contains over 18% carbon black for proper conductivity as tested using ASTM methods.
- Inside diameter varies by only ± 5 mm2 for consistent collection area and minimized error.
- Certified leak-free, cassette parts are manufactured with close tolerances and vacuum and pressure tested for leakage.
