OzChild Christmas Gift Appeal
Christmas is usually a time of excitement and joy for children. But every year hundreds of local children face a Christmas about as far from what you’d want for your own child as you can possibly imagine.
They’ve been removed from their parents to protect them from family violence, abuse or neglect. They’ve had their world turned upside down – but you can help change this and give them the joy every child deserves this Christmas.
That's why Air-Met has decided to get involved and give the gift of joy to some of Australia's most vulnerable children this Christmas by participating in the Oz Child Wishing Tree gift appeal.

Inspired by the great work of Royal Children's Hospital, which has impacted many of our lives, and will support them by raising money every month during our team lunches in each of our 6 offices.
Every little bit helps to make big changes to those in need so please help us help them by donating to the Good Friday Appeal.

Every hour, someone in Australia is diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma. Every two hours, someone dies as a result. Today 31 Australians will be given the devastating news that they have leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or related blood disorder. That’s more than 11,500 people this year. Although survival rates are improving, blood cancers like these are the second biggest cause of cancer death in Australia*. Air-Met Scientific has been proud to support the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave Event since 2011 and has donated over $60,000 to help support and raise awareness for the wonderful cause.
The money raised is used by the Leukaemia Foundation to fund services such as a home-away-from-home and transportation to hospitals to support patients and families living with leukaemia and related blood disorders. In addition, the money raised will also go towards research which is needed to find better treatments and cures. The Leukaemia Foundation receives no ongoing government funding, so community support is vital for theLeukaemia Foundation to continue to provide its amazing services to those suffering leukaemia and related blood disorders.
